Another great day in the books here with our middle school students at Elevate Summer Camp. We spent our rec time today on the water. Several students went tubing down the Lower Ocoee while the others went whitewater rafting down the middle section of the Ocoee. To say that some serious memories were made would be an understatement.

Our students were challenged in the word in the morning from Josh Ferguson (Blue Ridge Campus Student Director) on one question “Where else could you possibly go except for the presence of Jesus?” A great challenge to our students on empty pursuits in this life and true fulfillment found in the presence of Christ himself.

For our evening session, I had the honor of speaking our students on “Our Story; the part you play and the beauty of the Church” as we live this life seeking to love Christ and make him known. We have had 6 students trust Christ this week, and are believing that God is still doing a work in the hearts of our students in their family group time.

Pray for us as we head into our final full day at Elevate Summer Camp 2014!
